Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

Performing thorough equipment inspections

Testing repaired equipment for quality standards

Scheduling appointments for equipment maintenance and servicing

Ensuring that the equipment is calibrated as per specifications and industry standards

Addressing and troubleshooting any client queries and equipment failures

Reviewing and repairing equipment

Analyzing and suggesting equipment upgrades

Maintaining and updating a record of all daily operations

Ensuring a complete stock of calibration equipment and supplies

Maintaining documentation of the calibration process

Administering and monitoring calibration procedures

Ensuring completion of tasks as per the assigned deadlines

Assisting in preparing calibration certificates and data reports

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven work experience as a Calibration Technician or a similar role in the Engineering department.

Complete understanding of Calibration procedures and testing techniques.

Familiarity with inspection, testing equipment and quality control tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, pareto diagrams, and control charts.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent mathematical and mechanical skills.

Willingness to travel to different locations.

Ability to work for long hours.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

A team player as well as the ability to work independently.

Having an eye for detail.

Ability to offer excellent customer service.
