Calibration Technician

Sea Shell Calibration W.l.l.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• To Calibrate the test instrument in the following disciplines Electrical, Temperature, Pressure, Dimensional, Mass, Torque and Gas Detectors in order to ensure compliance with published specifications.
• Maintain primary and secondary calibration standards.
• Develop calibration procedures and methods if needed, according to detailed specifications & other technical requirements.
• To measure, compile, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration.
• Identify instrument out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments if possible.
• Identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable.
• Perform uncertainty evaluation and analysis for measurement standards and associated measurement processes if needed.
• Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
• Interact with other technicians, Customer Service Representatives & Manager

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

1. Technical Degree/ Diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum 2-3 years of calibration experience.

3. Must be able to perform general math and algebra functions.

4. Understanding of Basic Statistics.

5. Must possess good written oral & communication skills.

6. Should have computer skills; proficient in use of MS Word and Excel.

7. Knowledge of Quality Management system (ISO 9001 & ISO 17025)

8. Must be a self-motivator, work as a team player, and follow procedures.

Physical Demands: Must be physically fit.br>

Working Environment: Works primarily in the lab and/or customer site.br>
