Camera Service Technician - Digital & Professional Jumbo Electronic Co. Ltd ( LLC )

We are looking for a skilled Camera Service Technician - Digital & Professional to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of still and video camera equipment. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of imaging systems, strong troubleshooting ability, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. You will ensure top-quality service support, maintain accurate service documentation, and stay updated on the latest advancements in camera technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on cameras and imaging equipment using appropriate tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance, replace faulty components, and ensure system functionality.
• Install new equipment and test operations as per manuals and specifications.
• Provide brand support by addressing service requests and guiding customers on product use.
• Document service activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and consumables.
• Keep up to date with emerging camera technologies and repair best practices.

Experience & Qualification:

• 5–8 years of experience in camera servicing, imaging equipment maintenance, or related technical roles.
• Proven experience supporting premium camera brands or working in distribution/service centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Applications, or a related technical field (MCA preferred).

• Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Skills:

• Camera diagnostics and repair expertise (DSLRs, mirrorless, and video cameras)
• Knowledge of imaging sensors, optics, and firmware troubleshooting
• Experience with soldering, circuit testing, and calibration tools
• Familiarity with major camera brands (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, etc.)
• Strong understanding of electronics and mechanical assemblies
• Documentation and service report writing skills
• Customer handling and brand support experience
• Inventory and parts management
• Ability to interpret service manuals and circuit diagrams
• Continuous learning mindset to adapt to new camera technologies
