Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A Car Rental Agent is responsible for renting vehicles to customers, taking care of paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. They must ensure that all rental agreements are in compliance with company policies and procedures. They must also inspect vehicles upon return and handle any customer inquiries or complaints.
- Greet customers warmly and provide detailed information about car rental options
- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable vehicle based on their needs
- Clearly explain rental terms, conditions, and policies
- Make and manage reservations as per customer requirements
- Verify customer documents, including driving licenses and identification
- Process rental agreements, payments, and provide contracts to customers
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage before and after rental
- Ensure vehicles are returned in good condition and report any discrepancies
- Handle customer complaints or issues efficiently and professionally
- Provide support in case of accidents or emergencies during the rental period
- Maintain accurate records of all rental transactions
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service or car rental is preferred
- Valid UAE driving license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to car rental
- Ability to handle customer complaints with patience and professionalism
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
