Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
o Career Counseling:
· Provide Career Counseling services to students individually or in group sessions to help them make an informed career decision and assist them through occupational exploration and the career decision-making process.
· Analyze and interpret career assessment results and incorporate them into career counseling and job search coaching sessions.
· Provide resume/cover letter critiques and interview skills training, and use online resources to research employers and current employment opportunities.
o Career & Professional Development Programme:
· Participate effectively in UAEU Program and work on promoting it across campus.
· Deliver workshops as part of thez Career Readiness Program to students.
· Develop and conduct career and job search workshops, including resume and cover letter writing, finding an internship, job search strategies, interview skill development, and offer negotiations.
· Work collaboratively with careers staff, college faculty, alumni, and employers to deliver Career Readiness Program workshops.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Business Administration
- Human Resources
- Psychology
- Social Work
