Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Crew and project supervision:Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of a carpentry crew. Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to crew members.
- Technical oversight:Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure work is completed to specifications.
- Quality control:Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the highest quality standards and project specifications.
- Safety and compliance:Enforce safety regulations, ensure the proper use of tools and equipment, and maintain a safe work environment for the crew.
- Project management:Monitor project progress, track materials and labor costs, and report on the status of the project to supervisors.
- Training and mentorship:Train and mentor junior carpenters to improve their skills and maintain work efficiency.
- Resource management:Ensure the crew has the necessary tools, equipment, and materials for the job
