Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to specific requirements.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Perform tasks following safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free worksite.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects on construction projects.
• Estimate time and materials needed for carpentry projects accurately.
• Operate woodworking machines and manage carpentry tools efficiently.
• Maintain and ensure proper storage of all tools and materials.
• Offer expert advice on projects to improve construction efficiency.
• Work independently or as part of a construction team on job sites.
• Perform finish work including sanding, staining, and painting as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately.
• Good physical condition and stamina, with the capability to lift heavy weights.
• High attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
