Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine dimensions and materials required.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials accurately.
Construct, install, and repair building frameworks, walls, floors, door frames, and other structures. - Assemble and secure frameworks and fixtures such as windows, doorways, cabinetry, stairs, and roofing.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery proficiently and safely.
- Ensure work is in compliance with local building codes, regulations, and project standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, other trades, and team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance as needed on existing structures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Carpenter; completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training is preferred.
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques and materials, including wood, metal, and other construction materials.
