Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry work.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials to construct framing, flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, and windows.
- Install formwork for concrete structures and ensure structural accuracy and stability.
- Perform precise fitting and finishing of cabinetry, trim, and millwork to meet project standards.
- Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and quality control protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with project supervisors, foremen, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and timely project delivery.
- Report progress, issues, and material needs to site management on a daily basis.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and company safety standards.
Requirements
- 1 3 years of hands-on experience in construction carpentry within a professional setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery (e.g., circular saws, power drills, nail guns, planers).
- Strong understanding of wood types, joinery techniques, and structural framing principles.
- Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship (as applicable).
- Proven track record of delivering quality work on time and within budget.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced, team-driven construction environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team on an urgent basis. This role is critical to the successful execution of high-quality, on-time construction projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, fabricating and installing structural and decorative woodwork, and ensuring all work meets stringent safety, quality, and compliance standards. Your expertise will directly impact the integrity, durability, and aesthetic finish of our projects. This is a hands-on, field-based position offering a competitive compensation package including AEDAED 1500 per month, accommodation, visa sponsorship, and comprehensive medical coverage.
