Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the carpentry workshop and carpentry team.
Plan and organise daily carpentry work and assign tasks to workers.
Read and understand drawings and project requirements.
Estimate material requirements and ensure proper use of materials.
Make sure all carpentry work is done according to the drawings and specifications.
Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed on time.
Check the quality of finished work and make sure it meets company standards.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments.
Control waste and reduce material loss.
Ensure all workers follow safety rules and use tools properly.
Solve any problems related to carpentry work at the workshop or site.
Train and guide carpenters to improve their skills.
Prepare various reports on work progress.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 8 years of experience in carpentry or woodwork projects.
Experience in managing carpentry teams and workshop operations.
Ability to read technical drawings and understand project requirements.
Good knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and machines.
Good leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
Ability to work on costing software.
