Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible to ensuring strict compliance to the procedures, adequate controls in place for processing transactions, maintain high standard of efficiency and accomplish desired turnaround times for add/replenish/remove cash from ATM/CDM devices and premises listed under each group. Co-ordinate with IT and vendors engineer for any repair/replacement of parts load software etc. to provide uninterrupted service to customers as per policy and procedure laid down by the Bank.

Principal accountabilities:

Ensure SSS vehicle leave the office and return back on time and ensure that NO overtime is paid to SSS except for genuine reasons with approval of department head.

Ensure SSS vehicle do not exceed the cash limit for cash transit operations

Acts as custodian for cash in the vault & ATM/CDM devices, and all securities held in Treasury Vault.

Ensure cash limits are adhered at all the time and enough money is kept to meet daily cash requirements of devices.

Review device cash requirements report and prepare the devices cash list.

Receive & Send cash from / to branches or cash management

Ensure that all the ATMs have sufficient cash always including weekends and holidays and make sure ATM devices never run out of cash.

Cash must be counted by both custodians and checked before leaving the office.

ensure all cash counted and posted manually if required

Cash of CDM must be removed at regular intervals and handed in sealed cover bag with copy of the CDM counters.

All emergency calls must be attended without fail.

Improve operations efficiency and score green audit rating

Perform daily service as per list provided to each group and to cover maximum machine in a day to provide uninterrupted services to customers.

Ensure the site premises are kept clean and tidy and all security arrangements are in place.

Co-ordination with support services and different vendors.

Any other additional work assigned by superiors from time to time for running a smooth functioning and process of department unit.

Act as reliever of any other staff in case of emergency as instructed by the superiors

Ensure to be punctual and report on time, sign-in the attendance sheet if applicable as required by HRM

Daily reconcile and input ATM / CDM electronic register and ensure all shortages / excesses are transferred to respective accounts on daily basis. Shortage/excess must be immediately reported to respective supervisor and department head by rising OLER.

Perform cash shorting / bundling and balance the end of day cash closing.

Good Knowledge of bank products and services, operational policies, procedures and also knowledge of banking system.

Maintain the national dress code, cordial relation among colleagues, superiors and customers.

Ensure to improve the ATM uptime 96% and CDM uptime 90 % and above percentage

Create a pleasant working environment with good team spirit.

Staff will be responsible for any shortage reported such as device shortage or treasury shortage and this shortage will covered from the staff as HR policy

Ensure annual leave taken minimum 15 days continuously

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma in banking /HND/Diploma/Bachelor in Banking/in relevant filed

2 Years of experience in banking sector

Good communication skills, interpersonal skills tact, and flexible approach

Good knowledge of products, services, operational policies and procedures

Knowledge of Banking systems and PC operations.
