Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit or debit cards.
- Compute and record totals of transactions.
- Identify prices of goods and services.
- Issue receipts or change due to customers.
- Balance the cash drawer and notify the Branch Manager of any discrepancies.
- Ensure that money received is not forged.
- Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
- Upload the above information to the computerized cashier system.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout area.
- Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
- Answer customer questions, and provide information on money procedures & policies.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- Experience in retail floors or cashiers is a plus.
- Excellent maths skills.
- Trustworthy & reliable.
- Ability to provide good customer service.
- Must be able to work with numbers accurately and quickly.
- Computer experience is an asset.
Location: Maameltein
Working Hours: Monday- Friday (7:30am- 5:00pm) and Saturday 7:30am-3:00pm
