Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accurately process customer transactions by scanning items, operating cash registers, and handling various payment methods with speed and precision.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and creating a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain cash drawer accuracy by balancing cash, checks, and credit card transactions, and promptly reporting any discrepancies.
  • Efficiently handle returns and exchanges, ensuring adherence to company policies and providing a seamless process for customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred, showcasing familiarity with customer interactions and sales processes.
  • Basic proficiency in operating cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring efficient transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods, emphasizing financial accuracy.
