Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier with Russian language skills to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for processing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our diverse clientele.
- Greet and assist customers in both Russian and English, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Operate the cash register and Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment with precision
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries in Russian and English
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Desired Candidate Profile
Fluency in Russian and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds when necessary
