Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
• Assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout their shopping experience.
• Balance cash registers at the end of the shift and ensure accurate daily reports.
• Address customer complaints and escalations effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Operate the cash register and related equipment with competence and care.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management of low stock items.
• Implement loss prevention techniques to safeguard store inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate a smooth and efficient store operation.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep informed of store promotions and convey these to customers when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.
