Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, ensuring proper change and receipts are provided.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and work area.
- Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about services and resolving minor issues.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, reporting discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
- Prepare daily transaction reports and submit them to management as required.
- Support promotional activities and upsell relevant services when appropriate.
- Adhere to workplace safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Up to 3 years of experience in a cashier, customer service, or related role.
- Excellent numerical and cash handling skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
