Key Responsibilities:

Customer Transactions


Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.


Process payments through cash, credit/debit cards, or other accepted methods.


Issue receipts and return change accurately.


Order Management


Enter customer orders into the POS system promptly and correctly.


Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.


Handle takeaway and delivery orders efficiently.


Customer Service


Answer menu questions and make recommendations when asked.


Resolve customer complaints or escalate to a supervisor when necessary.


Maintain a friendly, helpful, and professional attitude.


Cash & Inventory Handling


Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation.


Monitor supplies (e.g., bags, receipt paper) and request replenishment when needed.


Cleanliness & Safety


Keep the cashier counter and surrounding area clean and organized.


Follow all hygiene and safety regulations.


Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment.


Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.


Strong customer service and communication skills.


Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.


Basic math skills and attention to detail.


Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
