Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Management
- Establish a strong presence on site, favoring quality management, particularly during periods of high attendance and rush.
- Provide a support role to heads of departments and teams.
- Maintain regular contact with the teams and guarantee a good social climate.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with legal, city, and country regulations, as well as the standards and procedures of Barri re Group.
Customer & External Relations
- Be responsible for the positive experience and well-being of customers.
- Implement proactive processes to promote customer satisfaction.
- Engage with and be available to customers; maintain good relations with customers while developing their loyalty.
- Serve as the privileged interlocutor for institutions (administrations, Egyptian authorities, French Consulate and Embassy, etc.).
- Participate in maintaining good relations with the economic fabric (traders, hotel-type partners, GM of the Sofitel, GMs of competing casinos, etc.) and integrate with local components.
Financial & Strategy
- Be responsible for achieving the objectives of sales and results targeted in the budget while respecting the corresponding expense ratios.
- Optimize and develop the company s revenue.
- Develop and implement the marketing action plan.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate, with significant experience in a management position within a casino.
- Experience in general casino management would be a plus; expatriation experience would also be a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French and/or Arabic would be a significant asset.
- A hands-on candidate, with an innate sense of contact, and rigor; your know-how is your best asset.
- Great ease in management; you are recognized for your exemplary leadership capacity.
- Strong sensitivity to customer culture.
- Through your presentation, availability, and your sense of relationships, you actively contribute to the image of both casino and the group. You possess flexibility and a sense of investment.
- Responsiveness and sense of responsibility, ability to manage changes and resistance to stress.
- Excellent communication skills.

Barri re Group is looking for a Managing Director for its two casinos based in Cairo, Egypt. Located in the chic district of Zamelec, enter the building of the Sofitel hotel on the banks of the Nile and discover the El Gezirah Casino, operating 45 slot machines, 14 gaming tables and a Lounge bar. Le Pacha Casino is located on a paddle wheel boat, on the Nile, operates 20 slot machines and 11 gaming tables as well as a lounge bar. Reporting to the International Operations Director, the Managing Director will oversee the operation of the casinos and will ensure the development of their activity in compliance with both Egyptian laws and Barri re Group s internal procedures.
