Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• · Work in all the Furnace, casting, homogenizing (if applicable) and finishing equipment’s and associated equipment plants, effectively to achieve production target in timely manner.
• · Timely monitoring, cross-checks, preventive maintenance and continuous follow up to ensure minimum disruption to operations.
• · Casting Machine HMI Operation
• · EMP Operation & cleaning
• · Casting Operations (Preparation, execution, and Completion)
• · SAP operation
• · Dross and Scrap Management
• · Molten Metal receiving
• · Scrap Charging
• · Furnace/Alloy Preparation
• · Sample Preparation and Analysing by Quant meter.
• · All Casting Operations (Preparation, execution, and completion)
• · SIR Operation & Cleaning
• · Billet Stripping & Overhead Crane operation
• · Metal Transfer & Furnace and Metal Pump Cleaning
• · Ensure proper level of Water, Gas and Oil.
• · UT, Homo and Saw Operation
• · Forklift Operation
• · To update online controlling and documenting system to observe and achieve KPIs.
• · Strictly following process flow routines and procedures established
• · Ensure high level of teamwork spirit and collaboration in between shifts.
• · To assist the team leaders in ensuring in perfect housekeeping and 5S / 3S standards are maintained throughout the plant.
• · Wear the safety PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) all the times prior to entering plants and other risk areas.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1 to 2 years in a similar role in a metal industry .
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a casting or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of casting processes and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
