Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category plans aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with procurement, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product availability and effective promotions.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels to balance demand and supply.
- Track and report category performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years experience in category management or relevant roles.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful category strategies.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Effective negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in retail or e-commerce sectors preferred.
