Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category plans aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with procurement, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product availability and effective promotions.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor inventory levels to balance demand and supply.
  • Track and report category performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years experience in category management or relevant roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful category strategies.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Effective negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in retail or e-commerce sectors preferred.
