Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth insights into shopper behavior, including their habits, motivations, and decision-making triggers.
  • Translate shopper insights into category strategies that enhance engagement and influence purchasing decisions.
  • Create and implement Customer-Facing Category Strategies and establish Perfect Store guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build annual category forecasts, ensuring accurate monthly projections and activity plans.
  • Design and oversee the yearly trade activity calendar aligned with category objectives across different channels.
  • Track category performance, providing trade support to sustain business growth and momentum.
  • Optimize trade spend budgets, manage promotional plans, oversee category management initiatives, and enhance profitability.
  • Define distribution targets to secure optimal market penetration for key SKUs.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility across various trade channels.
  • Support category innovation by evaluating volume projections, assessing financial impact, and formulating comprehensive trade support and deployment plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in trade marketing, category operations, or sales within FMCG or consumer goods industries.
  • Strong expertise in shopper insights, promotional planning, and trade execution.
  • Experience in budget management, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in trade marketing software, CRM systems, and data analytics tools.
  • Expertise in digital trade marketing, omnichannel strategies, and AI-driven shopper insights.
  • Advanced knowledge of retail analytics, supply chain coordination, and consumer behavior analysis.
