Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Cathodic Protection Engineer NACE-2 is responsible for managing and overseeing the construction and installation of cathodic protection systems on-site. This role ensures that all construction activities are executed in accordance with design specifications, project schedules, and safety standards. The CP NACE-2 Engineer is responsible for:

  • Supervise and coordinate the on-site construction of CP systems.
  • Ensure installation activities comply with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Monitor progress and ensure the timely completion of CP construction tasks.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare and maintain construction documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Testing & Commissioning and handover of CP systems.
  • Survey, Monitoring & Troubleshooting.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Corrosion Engineering, or related field.
  • NACE CP Level 2 certification is Mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cathodic protection field work, including supervisory roles.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in KSA.
  • Aramco approval in similar projects is preferable.
  • Experience in cathodic protection construction of Pipeline, well casings & Tanks.
  • Proven field experience and pre-commissioning experience.
  • Proven experience in interference studies and mitigation.
  • Soil resistivity, Drill stem and test anode.
  • Field survey, monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • DCVG & CIPS experience.
  • Design experience is preferable.
