What You ll Do

* Lead the design, deployment, and validation of CBTC GoA4 systems, ensuring compliance with IEEE 1474 and related standards
* Oversee integration of CBTC with rolling stock, SCADA, traction power, and communication systems
* Prepare, review, and approve system specifications and technical documentation aligned with IEEE, CENELEC EN 50126/28/29, and IEC 62267
* Direct and coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and System Integration Testing in line with IEEE 1474 guidelines
* Supervise Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) activities and ensure safety certification readiness
* Collaborate with RTA, contractors, and suppliers to align project requirements with international best practices and local regulations
* Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks related to CBTC implementation, including integration challenges and supplier performance issues
* Incorporate cybersecurity measures in compliance with IEEE 1686 and IEC 62443 standards for signalling systems
* Track project progress to ensure timely delivery within scope, schedule, and budget

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master s in Transportation/Systems Engineering preferred)
* Minimum 15 years of experience in CBTC system design and delivery, with direct experience on at least one GoA4 metro project
* Strong knowledge of IEEE 1474, CENELEC EN 50126/28/29, IEC 62267, and ISO 26262 standards
* Proven experience supervising PMC signalling projects from design to integration and revenue operations
* Expertise in CBTC architecture, redundancy, safety assurance, and operational optimization
* Skilled in hazard analysis (e.g., HAZOP), risk assessment, and safety case development
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to work with high-level clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical challenges and deliver innovative, reliable solutions
