Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the operation and performance of MSFE units from the central control room, ensuring that all parameters are within specified ranges for efficient and reliable operation.
• Adjust operating parameters such as feed flow rates, steam pressures, and temperatures to optimize MSFE performance in terms of freshwater production, energy efficiency and reliability.
• Identify and resolve any issues or abnormalities in MSFE operation, coordinating with maintenance teams to address mechanical or operational problems promptly.
• Ensure that MSFE operation complies with all relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and operating procedures to prevent accidents and maintain required quality standards.
• Analyse operational data and trends to identify opportunities for improving MSFE performance, efficiency and reliability, as well as predicting and preventing potential issues.
• Work closely with other plant personnel, including operators, maintenance technicians, and control room operators, to coordinate MSFE operation with overall plant processes and objectives.
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and operators on MSFE operation, safety protocols, and best practices to ensure effective and efficient plant operation.
