CCTV Engineer Bosta

About the role:
Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems across Bosta locations, especially
inside our hubs. This role supports the IT and Security teams by making sure all cameras and related
equipment are working correctly. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with installing
cameras, basic troubleshooting, and the ability to follow layout plans and technical instructions provided by
senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install CCTV cameras and related hardware as per the provided layout and instructions.
• Assist in planning and setting up camera layouts inside Bosta hubs to ensure full coverage.
• Configure basic settings for NVRs/DVRs and IP cameras.
• Perform regular checks to make sure all systems are working properly.
• Troubleshoot simple issues like video feed problems or connection errors.
• Work with vendors or senior technicians for advanced issues or replacements.
• Follow up on maintenance tasks and keep clear records of issues and solutions.
• Help with cabling, mounting equipment, and supporting on-site installations.
• Maintain documentation of installed cameras and configurations.
Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of CCTV systems and installation techniques
• Hands-on experience with installing and maintaining cameras and related equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly
• Comfortable with fieldwork, including using tools and working at heights
• Technical diploma or relevant degree (e.g., Electronics, Computer Engineering)
• 0 2 years of experience in CCTV installation or similar technical roles
