Position: CCTV Network EngineerLocation: Ras Al-Khaimah, UAEEmployment type: Full-timeWork model: on-siteBenefits: base salaryDuties And ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and performanceTroubleshoot and resolve network issues promptlyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for various projectsEnsure network security protocols are in place and adhered toPerform regular network monitoring, testing, and optimizationAssist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansionsProvide technical support and guidance to other team members when neededREQUIREMENTS:Proficient in English (C1), with strong verbal and written communication skills.5-7 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.Understanding of network switching concepts (e.g., Ethernet, VLANs, and network redundancy techniques).Familiarity with secure network technologies and traffic management (e.g., VPNs, MPLS, QoS).Ability to analyze network traffic using tools like packet analyzers.Understanding of application layer protocols (e.g., SNMP, HTTP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with logging and monitoring protocols.Knowledge of network security practices and technologies (e.g., encryption, firewalls, and DDoS mitigation).Proficiency in working with Unix/Linux-based systems.Experience with virtualization technologies and platforms.Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols and related technologies.Understanding of high-availability and network redundancy techniques.A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.Relevant industry certifications or equivalent training.BENEFITS: Competitive salaryPrivate health insurance from day oneInternational work environmentOpportunities for career development
