Roles & Responsibilities

CCTV Operator


Main tasks:

  • To ensure the observation, analysis and use of images from the video surveillance system
  • Supervise all surveillance equipment and ensure the proper functioning of cameras and continuous recording during each shift.
  • Control and manage fire alarms and other alert systems from the control room.
  • React immediately to any activation of a fire alarm or emergency, and proceed with the necessary investigations.
  • Identify, report and track any technical anomalies or maintenance needs of security systems
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security incident
  • Ensure the screening and control of access for all persons external to the establishment.
  • Accurately record all activities and incidents in the daily security log.
  • Consult the Daily News and Manager on Duty reports daily to stay informed of operational activities, arrivals, and VIP protocols.
  • Providing assistance during medical emergencies and other exceptional situations according to established procedures
  • Ensure strict adherence to the establishment's safety and security procedures.
  • Keep the control room clean and organized, and ensure proper document archiving.
