Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly install various ceiling types, including suspended, dropped, and coffered ceilings, ensuring precise alignment and structural integrity.
  • Accurately interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine project requirements and material needs for ceiling installations.
  • Precisely measure, cut, and fit ceiling components, such as panels, tiles, and drywall, using hand and power tools to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Efficiently frame and build ceiling structures, including support grids and furring strips, to provide a stable base for ceiling materials.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
  • Possession of a valid journeyman carpenter certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ceiling installation and related carpentry work.
