Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Cementing calculation, use of software and knowledge of Slurry Design including that for liners & tie-back cases. Preparation / cross checking of cement job plans at site.
  • Means to know about Cement job quality.
  • Good Decision making skill. Lab based test report analysis and slurry design with preflush, spacer, post flush, fluid and volumes calculations.
  • Documentation and preparation of End of the well report.
  • Explore feasibility to use new latest development in Cementing Technology.
  • Experience of water/ gas shut off jobs using cement, micro-fine cement, polymers, chemicals and implications with Cement retainers/ retrievable cementers.
  • Lesson learnt from mistakes, Organizing meeting and presentation to implement new Ideas in the field.
  • Technical integrity and proper Job Design, Experienced in casing/ liner cementation jobs, plugs, LOT (App.50 jobs), Chemical/ polymer water shut off jobs.
  • HP/HT Well experience.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in H2S/ Co2 environment
  • Sea- Hawk Experience
  • HP/HT Well experience.
  • HSE Compliance

  • Qualifications & Experience: Degree Physics/ /Mech. Engineering with 2 years or Technical Diploma with 3 yrs as Cementing Supervisor experience, (Onshore/ offshore experience).
