Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of all centralized control and signaling systems.
  • Manage centralized control operations for railway systems, overseeing operations, scheduling, and safety compliance.
  • Lead and supervise a team of centralized control operators, providing guidance, training, and support for efficient railway operations.
  • Develop and implement operational plans and schedules, optimizing resources and adapting to disruptions.
  • Ensure safety regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements are met in all operations.
  • Establish and maintain emergency response protocols for incident management and coordination with relevant authorities.
  • Utilize advanced railway control systems and technology to monitor and manage train movements, traffic, and signaling.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination between departments to maintain seamless railway operations.
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, optimize resources and control operational costs.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the performance of control operators and the centralized control system, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, delays, and operational issues, providing reports for analysis and resolution.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering
  • Extensive experience in the organization and supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of centralized control and signaling in Metro and other electrified Rail Transit projects.
  • General overall experience (12) years
  • 7 years of professional experience in the same field.
  • 3 years of experience in management and implementation of similar projects and in a similar position
