CEO - Joinery Operations Designsmith Interior Works LLC

The COO, Joinery Division is responsible for end-to-end operational leadership across the joinery value chain, from job order release to site handover. This role ensures cost-efficient, timely, and high-quality execution while building coordination across cross-functional teams. As the operational anchor, the COO drives a culture of data-first execution, ERP compliance, zero-defect delivery, and margin integrity, aligning factory, site, and commercial functions into one seamless engine.

1. Operational Leadership & Strategic Execution

· Govern execution from design finalization to site completion for all joinery works

· Ensure smooth coordination between production, planning, procurement, and technical functions

· Resolve bottlenecks and firefighting with permanent systemic solutions

· Enforce discipline in job sequencing, install readiness, and execution quality

2. Margin & Scope Integrity

· Guard commercial health by enforcing scope clarity and timely variation approvals

· Align procurement and commercial closely to avoid leakage

· Own and improve margin deviation KPIs via dashboards and early warnings

3. People Leadership & Capability Building

· Mentor functional heads and groom second-line successors

· Build a culture of proactive communication and accountability

· Drive ownership, clarity, and rhythm across daily, weekly, and monthly cadences

4. Process Improvement & SOP Enforcement

· Institutionalize learnings from delay logs, defects, and margin drops

· Lead process simplification and inter-departmental SOP alignment

· Support tech upgrades, automation, and digitization of factory/site workflows

5. ERP Governance & Dashboard Accountability

· Drive 100% ERPNext compliance across functions

· Monitor real-time dashboards on delay logs, margins, job progress

· Conduct daily syncs and reviews anchored in ERP data, not verbal updates
