Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial aspects of the university, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the university's strategic plan, driving financial performance and supporting academic excellence.
  • Manage the university's investment portfolio, optimizing returns while mitigating risks, contributing to the financial health of the institution.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the department.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a PhD is a plus, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Holds a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, showcasing professional competence and expertise.
  • Demonstrates 15+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the education sector or a related non-profit organization.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of Indian financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws, ensuring compliance and effective financial management.
