Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Change Manager is responsible to the Head of Project Spartan for defining, planning, managing and delivering all aspects of Change / Transformation related to the project to meet both customer and business requirements. The Job Holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of the change requirements ensuring the design, construction, testing and commissioning and Handover of the project to cost, time and quality.
The Change Manager ensures that all organisational change management requirements for project Spartan are conducted through effective management of relevant change activities to include but not limited to, lead and manage the change impact analysis, conduct process mapping activities for each contract/programme, conduct change impact analysis across the BAESAI organization. The delivery of this role will typically be through the management of a small team of PM Professionals or is delivered as an individual contributor with subject matter expertise in a key PM discipline.
The Job Holder will ensure that all aspects of the project are fully defined to ensure customer requirements are achieved in accordance with all business and commercial criteria, as well as company policies and procedures. In doing so the PM will develop and maintain project plans and budgets which will deliver to customer and business needs, ensuring that these plans are consistent with overall programme needs, and that specific deadlines and milestones are agreed and communicated to all parties involved.
The Job Holder will manage, control and monitor the project so that it is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plan and, where necessary, intervening to resolve issues which threaten delivery to plan. To achieve this it will be necessary to ensure that the project adheres to all policies and procedures and that they are carried out in such a way as to minimise risk and maximise opportunities.
The Job Holder will need to manage the project to ensure that the project achieves all its objectives especially assigned relationships with major suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure all contracts are delivered and that issues are effectively addressed. To undertake this role, the PM will need to ensure the project team possesses the required resources and capabilities to effectively deliver the project in line with all requirements and that staff are led, developed and motivated to ensure they are aware of and capable of meeting their accountabilities. To fully achieve this there will be a need to liaise with all functions relevant to the delivery of assigned projects to build an integrated project team and to enable the achievement of project objectives.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead on all organisational change management activities
- Lead and manage process mapping activities:
- Map the current As is process supported by the SMEs for each programme including the bases
- Develop the To Be process supported by the SMEs for the new ERP system for each programme
- Conduct change impact analysis across the BAESAI organisation
- Development and adherence to project plans and schedule
- Support the development and acceptance process for the SPARTAN Blueprint
- Work with the UK SPARTAN team to provide effective OCM support for the KSA elements
- Support the SPARTAN workshops through all phases to ensure the necessary KSA support is provided by SMEs
- Support and manage the project post Blueprint acceptance during the construction, transition and optimise & support phases:
- Blueprint sign off at the end of construction phase
- Support the scenario planning and testing for the processes within the sandbox
- Support system testing and training activities to include SIT & UAT
- Support the PR & communication strategy / execution as required
- Maintain relations and liaise with internal and external customer organizations as appropriate.
- Ensure all ITAR/EAR regulations and procedures are adhered to.
- Identifying personnel requiring lean training courses.
Desired Candidate Profile
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply change, or a related field
▪ Formal transformation qualification Six Sigma or equivalent
▪ Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, business transformation, change management and supply chain.
▪ Strong IT skills with proficiency in all MS tool sets and Infor systems including LN10.8. Ideally also have a working knowledge of other process tools sets, e.g. Visio
▪ Experience with change management tools & techniques, process mapping, business analysis and value stream mapping
▪ Knowledge of supply chain governance frameworks and compliance standards.
▪ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
▪ Understanding the LCM processes.
▪ Track record of managing a number of major, complex and sensitive projects successfully.
▪ Expert level planning and scheduling skills, ensuring the complex activities of interrelated project teams are controlled, managed and linked into the overall business plan.
▪ Expert leadership, delegation and team building skills for the effective people management of large and complex programmes.
▪ High level problem solving and financial control skills.
▪ Substantial understanding of commercial, financial and project leadership.
▪ Expert in project review and control, including the use of EVM techniques.

▪ Ideal, but not essential, have knowledge IFS and / or user experience
