Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support nursing staff in the Outpatient Department effectively.
• Coordinate patient care services, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
• Implement and maintain patient care standards to optimize healthcare delivery.
• Oversee scheduling of staff and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and applicable healthcare laws.
• Address patient and staff inquiries promptly, providing guidance and resolving issues.
• Document and report any adverse incidents or errors following established protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care protocols.
• Facilitate ongoing staff training and development to maintain a high level of competency.
• Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Capable of multitasking and coordinating in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records.
