Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

  • Monitor company budgets, project costing, and profitability

  • Oversee receivables, payables, banking, and cash flow planning

  • Handle multi-company accounting and financial consolidation

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and statutory requirements

  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks

  • Manage internal controls and financial governance

  • Ensure accurate documentation and audit readiness

Commercial & Operational Support

  • Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making

  • Analyze operational costs and improve financial efficiency

  • Assist project teams in commercial evaluations and financial controls

  • Monitor inventory valuation and procurement financial processes

ERP & Systems

  • Maintain and improve ERP/accounting systems

  • Ensure proper financial data management and reporting accuracy

  • Drive process improvements and digital financial workflows

Leadership

  • Supervise finance and accounts staff

  • Establish professional finance procedures and reporting standards

  • Support management with business expansion and operational planning

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

  • Additional qualifications such as CMA, CPA, MBA Finance are advantageous

Experience

  • 5–12 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in engineering, contracting, industrial trading, or oil & gas-related industries preferred

  • GCC/Middle East experience is an added advantage

Technical Skills

  • Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge

  • ERP/Tally/Zoho/SAP/Oracle/Odoo experience preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities

  • Knowledge of project accounting and commercial finance
