Roles & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Section Supervision: Manage and organize your assigned kitchen section
  • Food Preparation: Cook and plate dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
  • Quality & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
  • Teamwork: Coordinate with other sections and assist commis chefs during service.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and report shortages to the Sous Chef
  • Consistency: Ensure all dishes are uniform in taste, portion, and presentation
