Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Every day brings new flavors, but you ll mainly:
- Prepare and present authentic Arabic dishes, from hot and cold mezze to main courses and specialty items.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu design, seasonal offerings, and specials.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients.
- Train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues in Arabic cooking techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across your section.
- Step in with flexibility and teamwork to support kitchen operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
At least 4 years of hotel experience in a 5 star luxury hotel, with expertise in Arabic cuisine
- Expertise in buffet presentation, ensuring visually appealing and high-quality displays.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume production while maintaining consistency and excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
