Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

  • To safely execute confined space tank cleaning, oil flushing, and industrial chemical cleaning activities for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities in Qatar, in line with client and HSE requirements.

    Scope of Work

    • Safe confined space cleaning of tanks handling crude oil, mud, and sludge.

    • Oil flushing activities for process systems and related equipment.

    • Industrial chemical cleaning of tanks, vessels, and associated facilities as per approved procedures.Perform safe entry and work in confined spaces in accordance with company and client procedures (permits, gas testing, ventilation, standby man, rescue readiness).

  • Carry out tank cleaning, sludge removal, and decontamination using appropriate mechanical, chemical, and high-pressure cleaning methods.

  • Execute oil flushing and industrial chemical cleaning jobs as per method statements and risk assessments.

  • Correctly use and maintain PPE, cleaning equipment, and monitoring devices (gas detectors, ventilation systems, communication tools).

  • Comply with all HSE requirements, report unsafe conditions, and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience (suggested)

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in industrial tank cleaning, confined space work, or industrial chemical cleaning within oil & gas or heavy industry.primusworkforce+1

  • Valid Confined Space Entry / H2S / PTW and related safety certifications preferred.sfm.illinois+1

  • Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in offshore and onshore environments.peoplehawk+1
