Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Formulate and develop construction chemical products including tile adhesives, waterproofing systems, repair mortars, and industrial flooring materials.
  • Conduct laboratory testing, quality control procedures, and performance evaluations on raw materials and finished products.
  • Optimize existing product formulations to improve performance, cost efficiency, and market competitiveness.
  • Support production teams in scaling up formulas, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining product consistency.
  • Prepare and update Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and product documentation.
  • Perform competitor product analysis and recommend technical improvements.
  • Provide technical support to customers and the internal sales team regarding product usage, application methods, and technical queries.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and industry specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Middle East within the construction chemicals industry.
  • Strong technical background in tile adhesives, waterproofing, repair mortars, industrial flooring, and cementitious systems.
  • Hands-on experience in R&D, formulation, QC, and production of construction chemical products.
  • Solid understanding of polymers, additives, and raw materials used in construction chemicals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production and quality issues effectively.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams (production, sales, QC).
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide technical guidance to customers and sales teams.
  • Ready to join immediately or within a short notice period (preferred).
