Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize chemical processes and equipment for industrial manufacturing.
  • Conduct research to develop new manufacturing processes and improve existing ones.
  • Supervise the operation of large-scale chemical plants and modify machinery as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement process improvements and innovations.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and review the technical drawings and data.
  • Analyze data from laboratory and plant trials and compile technical reports.
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling to optimize processes and resource usage.
  • Evaluate process risks and formulate recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous production.
  • Conduct cost and benefit analysis for proposed process modifications and improvements.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and plant operation staff on best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in process design, operation, and optimization in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and industrial applications.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific safety and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across various functions.
