Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The individual will be asked to provide assistance to maintain and upkeep of chemical skids in the degassing station plants and outside the plant battery limits.
- They shall do routine monitoring, surveillance viz. daily checking and reporting the dosage rates, tank fills, condition monitoring, pump conditions, any leaks/weeps/seeps.
- Monitor the condition of solar panels and battery conditions for the solar skids.
- They shall do minor preventive and corrective maintenance work for the upkeep of the chemical skids.
- They shall follow approved maintenance procedures.
- Minimum 7- 10 Years experience working with Chemical skids.
Wood is currently recruiting a Chemical Injection Supervisor to join its Iraq business unit. This is a full-time onsite position based in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chemical Injection Supervisor to join our Iraq Business Unit.
A Chemical Injection Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of chemical injection, blending, and production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. They manage teams of technicians or operators, maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards. This role is common in industries like oil and gas, petrochemicals, and manufacturing.
strong>Core Responsibilities and Duties:/strong>
- Supervise daily production, blending, and chemical injection activities, ensuring they meet company standards and schedules.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety policies, including the use of PPE, and ensure adherence to environmental regulations and ISO standards
- Manage, train, and mentor production team members, including conducting performance appraisals and providing technical guidance.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of injection pumps, equipment, and tools, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor raw material stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure products are sampled and tested according to Quality Plans.
- Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly production reports, including documentation on chemical usage, inventory, and performance metrics
