Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assisting team in the day-to-day business.
  • Assist in Chemical Blending Facility, preparation of additive solutions, chemical mixing process, filling of finished products into drums/IBCs/ISO Bulk.
  • Take samples of raw material and finished product chemicals, for physical and chemical measurements subject to quality control procedure.
  • Field Visits with Chemical Engineer to Monitor, troubleshoot and optimisation of all chemical application programs, providing daily updates on performance.
  • Provide on-site support with dosing, measuring, testing and chemical application assurance.
  • Organise regular production chemistry reviews and current product selection ensuring it meets the Company s needs
  • Assist in all aspects of production chemistry supply ensuring optimization and minimum stock levels are maintained.

Computer, software proficiency, Operations and maintenance systems

  • Fluent computer skills and basic software packages
  • Knowledge in MS word, Excel, Outlook
  • Compiling reports, Chemical stock, min-max levels, reorder quantity.
  • Upkeep of records, files, checklists etc.

HSE

  • Apply knowledge of quality, health and safety related procedures, practices and standards and ensure compliance to the same.
  • Aware of Control of Work policies and procedures
  • Strict adherence to the defined HSE processes.
  • Ability to Close-out audit points etc.
  • Adherence to the PPE policy.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification/strong>

  • Minimum Degree (Advanced Diploma / BEng / BSc.) in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
  • Preferable advanced chemical applications certificates and courses.

Experience

  • Graduate / Trainee

Preferred:

  • Experience in Upstream Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refineries.
  • Chemical Applications in H2S environments
