Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform various petroleum and petrochemical analyses using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment
- Operate and maintain sophisticated analytical instruments, including HPLC and GC, ICP-OES, CFR Engines
- Develop and optimize analytical methods to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control procedures
- Maintain accurate records of analyses, and results in laboratory information management systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and methodologies
- Stay current with the latest developments in chemistry and analytical techniques
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field (required)
- Minimum of one year of hands-on laboratory experience
- Proficiency in chromatography techniques, including HPLC, GC, and ICP-OES, CFR Engine
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent data analysis and interpretation abilities
- Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Knowledge of chemical analysis methods and quality control procedures
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in chemical laboratories
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards for testing and calibration laboratories
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated innovative thinking and adaptability to new technologies and methodologies
