Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We re Hiring Chief Accountant (F&B Background Required)
Location: Jnah Beirut
Full-Time Position
A growing food & beverage company is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Chief Accountant to lead the finance department. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a solid background in the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations and month-end closings
Handle inventory costing, food cost analysis, and vendor reconciliations
Monitor revenue, expenses, payroll, and petty cash flow
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal financial policies
Prepare financial statements and performance reports for management
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
Supervise the accounting team and ensure accurate data entry
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an F&B/ FMCG / Retail businesses
Strong understanding of POS systems, inventory control, and cost accounting
Familiar with Lebanese VAT and NSSF regulations
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
