Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Overseeing the company's accounts, including subsidiary and affiliate accounts.
  • Cost Control: Monitoring and analyzing costs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Internal Audit: Overseeing internal audit processes to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Providing periodic financial reports to senior management on the company's financial performance.
  • Team Management: Managing the accounting team and ensuring their effective performance of financial tasks.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations in the country.
  • Accuracy Verification: Verifying the accuracy of financial data and accounting processes.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Error Detection: Detecting and correcting financial errors or discrepancies.
  • Transparency: Ensuring transparency in financial operations and providing accurate reports.
  • Periodic Audit: Conducting regular audits of accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA is a plus).
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in finance and accounting.
  • Odoo ERP Experience: Essential experience with Odoo ERP system, including implementation, customization, and management.
  • Retail Experience: Experience working in retail companies, with a deep understanding of retail financial operations and management.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
