Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to [accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax portals].
  • Review all journal entries by accounting team on financial system and review proper filing.
  • Help with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform ad hoc reports and reviews as requested by CFO/Financial Manager.
  • Supervise and review general ledger accounting functions.
  • Electronic submission of several tax gates and ither governmental gates.
  • Work closely with external auditor for monthly documents submission.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance. CMA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance. CMA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Hands-on experience with accounting software (i.e. Odoo).
  • Attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
