Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (local and international).
- Demonstrated experience managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
