Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

-Manage the full accounting cycle, ensuring the integrity of the General Ledger and executing month-end closing within strict Parent Company deadlines (Hard Close).

-Supervise and review daily journal entries and reconciliations performing them directly or leading the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with EAS and IFRS.

-Act as the finance lead in "Cost Kick-off" meetings, validating cost assumptions for business proposals and tracking project budgets vs. actuals (Variance Analysis).

-Conduct comprehensive monthly analysis of the Trial Balance and Balance Sheet, including mandatory reconciliations with customers, suppliers, and intercompany entities.

-Oversee all tax filings (VAT, Corporate, Payroll) and ensure full compliance with the Egyptian Tax Authority, including E-Invoicing and E-Receipt systems.

-Prepare and file reports for agencies (GAFI, Export Support Fund) and facilitate external/internal audits by providing accurate, timely documentation.

-Drive the financial data integrity and mapping during the transition from QuickBooks to Odoo ERP, ensuring seamless automation of manufacturing cost-flows.

-Establish and monitor robust daily controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to both local policies and Parent Company standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance Major- English Section). Professional certificates (IFRS) are highly preferred.
Experiences:
Minimum 7 years in accounting, with 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably within an International Manufacturing sector.
Deep expertise in local accounting standards, IFRS, and tax regulations; experienced in ERP transitions (QuickBooks/Odoo).
Fluent Professional English (Essential for reporting to the Parent Company).

Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word Excel Outlook)
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial trends and cost variances.
Expert proficiency in Advanced Excel (Financial modeling, Pivot tables, complex formulas) and professional use of Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in English (Written and Spoken), specifically for professional financial reporting and correspondence with the Parent Company.
Practical experience in managing financial transitions and operations using QuickBooks and Odoo ERP.
High level of precision in reviewing trial balances, reconciliations, and tax filings to ensure zero material errors.
