Your new role

• Financial Reporting - To carry out month-end closing activities and submit latest financial statements within 2 working days of the next month, and ensure the financial position of the company reflects true and accurate information.
• Credit Control - Maintain customer's credit limit and period as per company policy to avoid any financial risks.
• Collection - Follow-up overdue payments to minimise the bad debts and highlight any deviations in the collection target and update the management accordingly.
• Payments to Vendors - To ensure timely payments to vendors as per agreed payment terms.
• Expenses Control - To make sure expenses do not exceed the set budget or forecast and highlight any deviation for management to take corrective action.
• Cash Flow - Prepare a monthly cash flow statement covering the actual year-to-date period and projected cash flow requirements for the coming 6 months.
• Internal Control - Oversee the correctness of the financial transactions to ensure the company financial statements are produced as per company policies and international accounting standards.
• Policies and Procedure - Implement company policy and procedure to ensure a high standard of discipline across the department.
• Staff Development - Manage and develop the accounting team to improve the team capabilities, career progression and department efficiency.
• E-invoicing - To ensure E-invoicing is in place and compatible & ready to connect with the ZATCA platform.
• Zakat Return - Prepare a yearly ZAKAT schedule and review Zakat Return provided by the service provider before filing. To work closely with the Zakat service provider to make sure that the Company has an up-to-date Zakat certificate and no enquiry is pending.
• VAT Return - Prepare periodically VAT filling documents / return and upload VAT and incase Company engage service provider, then, coordinate with service provider to ensure timely submission of VAT return.
• Annual Audited Accounts - Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual audit activities and obtain audited accounts in English and Arabic and finish by mid-January every year.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2 + years in a management role
• 2 plus years of Middle East experience
• FMCG experience and multicultural experience
