Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Chief Accountant to join our talented team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the work of accountants
  • Review financial statements
  • Prepare reports for chief executive officer
  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: (month and end-year process - accounts payable/receivable - cash receipts - general ledger - payroll and utilities - treasury & budgeting - cash forecasting - revenue and expenditure variance analysis - capital assets reconciliations - fixed asset activity - debt activity - bank reconciliation)
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide recommendations
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • Achieve Operational Objectives
  • Supervising accounting staff
  • Communicate with banks

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • GBA: Preferably not less than 3.5 5 or 2.5 4.
  • +3 years of experience, Must have had a leadership role.
  • Required certificate CPA or any related professional certification.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, and Odoo.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent in Arabic.
  • Teamwork, Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, Capability to communicate and listen to needs from organizational stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and commitments concurrently.
  • Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be Saudi National
